He specializes in policy development, travel program globalization, and corporate aircraft management. He is also experienced in auditing and negotiating contracts with travel agencies, and travel suppliers.

Serving as the Head of Travel for Maritime Mercantile International Travel (MMI), based in Dubai , Sundar previously also was the UAE Regional Head for Thomas Cook Al Rostamani and the Travel Manager for International Travel Bureau (one time associate of HRG-DNATA) in Bahrain.

Mr. Vasudaven’s consulting practice is an IATA Strategic Partner and a preferred External Training provider of EmQuest (Galileo Emirates) providing Strategic Consulting & Training services to select travel agencies in Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, India and SriLanka.

His practice also is a Strategic Partner of AC Nielsen, world’s largest market research firm, in producing Travel Pulse-2004, the first syndicated study in Corporate Dubai Travel Trends & Policies.

He holds Majors in Communications from the University of Cambridge, UK and is a Graduate of the EPGC Senior Management Program, Graduate School of Business, Stanford University , USA and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India.

Mr. Wicks began his career training as a professional investigator and law enforcement officer in 1972. Mr. Wicks started with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff¹s Department in Louisiana as a Patrol Deputy, and Crime Scene Investigator. Upon leaving Louisiana he went to Houston to continue building his career in law enforcement.

In Houston, Mr. Wicks was accepted into the Houston Police Department where he spent two years in patrol before being transferred into the Special Investigations Division; Vice and Narcotics, working undercover. After working in Special Investigation and the Harris County Organized Crime Unit, he entered private industry.

Since leaving law enforcement, Mr. Wicks has been involved with travel security and investigations of energy industry related crimes. He has worked with the largest oil and gas-related companies integrating their travel
systems with security functions internal to his clients. This includes search and rescue, as well as kidnap and ransom and other criminal events travelers face while on company business. Software he works with has
included travel agency security suites and independent traveler tracking products.

He is a member of the Energy Security Council (ESC) and American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). He is currently on the ESC¹s Law Enforcement Liaison Committee, which is charged with educating law enforcement officers from local, state and federal agencies in energy related crimes and a past member of the ASIS Energy Committee. Mr. Wicks holds an Instructors¹ certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standard.
