Barry Lemley is based in the Washington DC offices of Consulting Strategies and offers more than 30 years of Airline, TMC, Corporate and Government distribution and technology management experience to the industry.

He offers expertise in:

He has worked with Garber Travel, ARC, PTC (Partnership Travel Consulting), and HRG (Hogg Robinson Group Consulting Division). His positions have been in management, sales, and consulting positions as well as working for Pan Am in a series of headquarters, US, and foreign assignments.

At ARC, Lemley managed the record growth of the industry’s point of sale outlets to 47,000 with over 180 million annual transactions. He led the automation of the accreditation process and facilitated hundreds of TMC mergers and acquisitions.

As Director Emerging Markets, he co-chaired ARC's Travel Distribution Task Force that drove distribution innovations, which changed the very landscape of the industry. These included Service Fees, E-Ticketing, On-Site Branches, Online and Fulfillment locations and GDS alternatives. Barry successfully launched ARC’s Corporate Travel Department (CTD) program for which he was named one of the 25 Most Influential Executives in the Business Travel Industry by Business Travel News.

Recent travel industry consulting clients include ARC, the US Government, Lowe’s Hardware, Textron, and TRX. He also provides project management and strategic environmental guidance to non-profit organizations.

Mr. Lemley is a member of ACTE's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Advisory Committee. He has served on the NBTA’s Data Privacy Task Force and Aviation Committee as well as ACTE’s Cross Border Initiative. He holds a BA from Marist College and industry certifications from The Travel Institute and The Wharton School.

Nitin Mittal
Senior Consultant

Nitin Mittal, Senior Consultant, has 15 years of extensive travel agency and corporate experience in the travel industry.

Mr. Mittal led the IBM travel procurement team for the Asia Pacific region covering fifteen countries. His responsibilities spanned selection of air, hotel, payment systems and related technology for the region. He played a major role in establishing the organization as a key player in procurement and supply chain practices. Prior to IBM , Nitin spent seven years with American Express in customer relations and travel operations. His involvement with process re-engineering and client relationship management at Amex resulted in being awarded several company awards for excellence. Nitin’s earlier travel agency experience includes both Carlson Wagonlit and Interglobe/SITA World Travels.

Mr. Mittal holds a Master Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune, India and a Master of Tourism Administration from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India. He is active in the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) where he has been a keynote speaker and committee member.

Roxy Mize
Senior Consultant

Roxy is travel industry veteran bringing over 30 years of travel industry professionalism that spans GDS, eCommerce, airline, travel agency, big firm consulting and travel education. This is backed by solid business experience in travel industry sales, marketing, business development, strategic relationship management and operations. Roxy's in-depth knowledge of the overall marketplace has provided him with the insight and skills to assist corporate, agency and supplier clients who are making the transition from the traditional supply chain model to meet the demands of a dynamically changing marketplace.

With a foundation in the airline industry in sales management with Pan Am and Saudia, Roxy went on to become Manager of Information Management Systems for Hickory Travel Systems (now part of BTI Americas) providing management and support for accounting, corporate client and internal reporting, Quality Control, rate desk and corporate self booking processes. At System One Amadeus, Roxy served in a variety of leadership roles for 10 years with significant achievements in the development and marketing of key travel agency front, mid and back office products and services, as well as corporate travel management systems. Roxy also served as the GDS's Industry Affairs Representative, primarily on ARC's GDS Committee. At Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young, in addition to serving on the company's Global Center of Excellence for Travel and Transport, Roxy consulted with large travel organizations in sales process development, corporate policy development, product implementation, adoption and ROI analysis, custom GDS negotiations and complex ARC accreditation. At hotelBANK (a subsidiary of MICROS Systems) Roxy was charged with building an exchange of alliances to serve the needs of the corporate B2B market. Throughout his career, Roxy also served as an Instructor with such organizations as Continental Airlines, Houston Community College and System One Learning Services.

William Murray
Senior Consultant

William comes from a computer technology background and has worked specifically in the travel industry for the last 5 years. His specialty is working with Internet based technology and specifically implementing Online Booking Systems and Online T&E Expense Systems. He also has experience working as a web designer, writing functional software specifications, Installing and configuring web server hardware & software, and doing project management.
